Motorcycle adventure series was appreciated

To the Editor:
Thank you to the Portage County Gazette staff and in particular to Paula O’Kray on her latest eight part “Middle of the Road” series. Reading of the wonderings and wanderings of the bikers’ journey through the western states was a weekly anticipation.
On my part, I regret that it is finished. Familiar with the scenery and routes covered, I looked forward to hearing of the escapades, learnings, fears and camaraderie shared with her companions as well as folks met along the way.
Couldn’t you imagine the “surprise” and entertainment at some of those lunch stops as these adventurous women swarmed in as well? It must have been a “hoot” and yet, most enjoyed by all.
What a delight. Certainly you must feel a sense of pride and satisfaction for your choice of personal challenge. Glad you are all back home, safe. Thanks for the sharing, and remember, “Life comes in waves … a splash of excitement moves you toward a dream you’ve dreamed for a lifetime. Another push or pull from any direction guides you even closer to the places you long to explore. Life carries you along with a gentle flow of changes and challenges, and you float into tomorrow knowing that another wave will be there for you and you will be waiting to go.”
Wonder what and where that will take you or us?
