Pacelli Grad Promoted to Army Senior NCO

A Stevens Point native was recently promoted to Sergeant First Class in the United States Army.
Cristi Pettit, 36, is currently assigned to the 1st Cavalry Division Sustainment Brigade at Fort Hood, Texas. She was promoted to an E-7 during a ceremony on Aug. 1.
Pettit enlisted in August of 2000 as a heavy wheel mechanic and has served in five overseas combat tours and one rotation in South Korea.
She currently works as a 79S, a career counselor. She is the daughter of Patrick and Belinda Pettit, formerly of Stevens Point.
