OWI: A 22-year-old Coon Rapids, Minn., man was arrested for his second OWI, operating with a revoked license and operating left of the center line after being pulled over by police on Cty. Rd. HH in Plover at 12:03 AM.
Late Night Labs: Police responded to the construction site of the UWSP science building at 3:15 AM in response to reports of trespassers. No suspects were found or reported.
Cargo Party: Deputies performed a welfare check on a 52-year-old Rosholt woman who was reportedly drinking in the bed of a pickup truck on Cty. Rd. JJ and Cty. Rd. W at 2:09 PM. No trouble was reported.
Hit-and-Run: A 20-year-old Wisconsin Rapids woman was cited for operating without insurance and hit-and-run of an unattended vehicle on the 1000 block of Main St. in Stevens Point at 2:10 PM.
Frequent Flyer: A 33-year-old Rosholt woman was told she would start receiving nuisance citations if she kept calling sheriff’s deputies to her home on the corner of Grand Ave. W and State St.
Crash: After crashing into the vehicle of a 64-year-old Plover man on Hwy. 54 and Hayes Ave. in Plover at 5:17 PM, a 23-year-old Plover man was cited for operating with a suspended license, operating without insurance and following another automobile too closely.
Theft: Police were called at 5:30 PM by a 26-year-old Plover woman who reported an unknown suspect had stolen items from her vehicle while parked on the 2700 block of Church St. in Stevens Point. Stolen items were not reported by police.
