Panther Girls Tennis Downs Warriors

The SPASH girls tennis team improved its season record to 6-2 with a 4-3 win over Wausau West at the SPASH courts on Thursday.
Sabrina Tang upped her record to 8-0 on the season at number one singles posting a 6-1,6-0 win over Natasha Bailey.
With West pulling out wins in the remaining three singles matches, it all came down to three big doubles wins for Panthers Elizabeth Wentzel-Taylor Konczal, Maggie Negaard-Lillie James, and Jenna Boeck-Allison Kleman.
The win marked the Wisconsin Valley Conference opener for SPASH. Next up for the Panthers is the Green Bay Southwest Invite Saturday, Sept. 2 at 9 AM. SPASH then travels to Marshfield on Sept. 5, with the first serve set for 4 PM.
