Slow Down: A 32-year-old Wisconsin Rapids man was warned for speeding at Cty. Rd. J and B in Stevens Point at 12:29 AM.
Moving Out: Police were called to perform a welfare check at an apartment on the 2300 block of Hickory Dr. in Plover at 5:12 AM. Police reported all was fine and someone was just moving out.
Parking Predicament: Police responded to a disturbance on the 600 block of Portage St. at 9 AM between a 60-year-old Stevens Point woman and 39-year-old man who were arguing about a parking issue.
Fraud: A 59-year-old Stevens Point man called police at 11:03 AM to report being victim of a fraud attempt. No word on if the victim suffered any losses.
Door Ding: An unsecured door on the 1000 block of First St. reportedly swung in the wind and damaged the vehicle of a 68-year-old Stevens Point man at 11:23 AM.
Crash: A 76-year-old Stevens Point man crashed his vehicle at the intersection of Water St. and Arlington Pl. at 11:43 PM.
Dumpster Dodger: A 66-year-old Nelsonville woman reported her dumpster was taken from her home on the 9500 block of Cty. Rd. SS at 11:54 AM. The dumpster was recovered and returned. Extra patrols will monitor the area.
Crash: Police responded to the intersection of Hwy. 10 and Maple Bluff Rd. at 12:41 PM where a 22-year-old Luxemburg, Wis. woman crashed her vehicle.
Stake Out: Police were called at 5:28 PM by a 66-year-old Stevens Point man who reported a dump truck had bent a survey stake in his yard on the 2900 block of Cty. Rd. Y.
