Laverne Borowczyk

Laverne “Lovey” Borowczyk, 93, Plover, died Monday, Sept. 17, 2017, while under the care of Heartland Hospice services.
She was born in Chicago to Frank and Anna (Ezop) Rywelski Sept. 24, 1923.
She was married to Joseph Borowczyk May 3, 1947. After 57 years of marriage, he died Sept. 3, 2004.
Ms. Borowczyk is survived by her three daughters, Geri (Adolf) Urrutia, Glendale, Calif., Judi Herman, Darien, Ill., and Jackie (Neil) Denny, Plover; five grandchildren, Jacey (Michael) Walsh, Chicago, Jamie Wormuth, Waukesha, Michael Denny, Gothenburg, Sweden, Christopher Denny, Minneapolis, and Alexander Denny, La Crosse; three great-grandchildren, Ellery and Emersyn Walsh, Chicago, and Will Wormuth, Waukesha; one sister, Betty Wajerski, Brooksville, Fla; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sister Lorraine Stefaniak; and brothers-in-law, Ted Stefaniak and Joseph Wajerski.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 22, 2017, at St. Bronislava Catholic Church, 3200 Plover Road, Plover. Burial will take place at a later date at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Arlington Heights, Ill. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. Friday until time of service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to Shield of Roses, P. O. Box 9053, Glendale, Calif., 91226.
