OWI: Police responded to the intersection of Rice St. and Minnesota Ave. at 2:05 AM where a vehicle was reportedly stopped in the middle of the road. The 28-year-old Stevens Point male driver was cited for OWI and having his vehicle standing in the roadway.
Fraud: A 62-year-old Plover woman called police at 1:05 PM to report being victim of attempted fraud. The unknown suspect reportedly used the name of a son she did not have.
Crash: Police responded to a two-vehicle crash between a 19-year-old Mosinee woman and 31-year-old Stevens Point woman on Division St. and Fourth Ave. at 3:31 PM.
Rough Night: A 47-year-old Plover woman called police at 6:41 PM to report children who were “roughhousing” on the 5900 block of Birch Dr. in Plover. The caller was advised this was a parenting issue.
Pay Attention: A 17-year-old Stevens Point woman was cited for inattentive driving after crashing her vehicle on the 300 block of Second St. N at 6:42 PM.
Odd Behavior: A 22-year-old Plover woman called police at 7 PM to report an unknown teenage boy was acting strangely on the 1200 block of West Whitney St. in Stevens Point. Suspect was not found.
Division Disturbance: Police responded to reports of a disturbance on the 200 block of Division St. N between a 39-year-old Stevens Point woman and 34-year-old Libertyville, Ill., man. The cause of the disturbance was not reported.
