OWI: A 25-year-old Wisconsin Rapids woman was arrested for her second OWI after police stopped pulled her over for making a turn from a straight-only lane on Main St. and Michigan Ave. in Stevens Point at 1:17 AM. Preliminary breath test showed her blood-alcohol level at 0.21.
Crash: Police cited a 43-year-old Vesper woman with operating without a license after she crashed with an 18-year-old Stevens Point man at the intersection of Old Hwy. 18 and Maple Bluff Rd. in Stevens Point at 12:52 PM.
Warranted Arrest: Police arrested a 31-year-old Stevens Point man on an outstanding warrant and violation of his probation after responding to a disturbance on the 500 block of Bliss Ave. at 2:56 PM.
Crash: Police responded to the intersection of College Ave. and Division St. at 3:17 PM where a 17-year-old Stevens Point woman driver had crashed with the vehicle 30-year-old male.
Unfair Trade: Police were called at 6:03 PM by a Stevens Point Dollar General store employee who reported a 20-year-old Menominee Co. woman had allegedly stolen a number of makeup and feminine items. The woman then had an unnamed man return the items at a later date without a receipt and use the refunded gift card to purchase cigarettes and soda. No charges were reported.
