Hidden Studios Art Tour celebrates art along the Ice Age Trail

By Cassie Lennox
Nestled in the scenic countryside of Portage County, the Hidden Studios Art Tour: Along the Ice Age Trail returns to bring a diverse collection of art to central Wisconsin, featuring locally- and area-wide known artists, as well as some newcomers.
The exhibits are open for three days, running from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6, and Saturday, Oct. 7, and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 8. Tours are self-guided, allowing visitors to leisurely stroll and enjoy the beauty of both the trail and the art.
This year’s event will feature 26 artists in 10 working studios. Community members have the unique opportunity to meet and converse with the artists, learn their processes and observe the artists at work through demonstrations.
