September 29

Quiet Down: Police responded to the 1700 block of Maria Dr. after receiving a noise complaint at 12:16 AM. The 21-year-old resident of the suspected house was given a warning and noise report.

OWI: An 41-year-old Endeavor, Wis., man was arrested for his fifth OWI, second offense of possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia after being pulled over by police on the 2700 block of Church St. at 2:25 AM.

Crash: Police responded to a two-vehicle crash between a 32-year-old Stevens Point woman and 20-year-old Bancroft woman on the 900 block of Illinois Ave. in Stevens Point at 10:25 AM.

Social Media Mayhem: A 19-year-old Stevens Point man called police at 6:26 PM to report an unknown suspect had logged into his social media account.

September 30

Burgled: A 21-year-old Stevens Point woman called police at 12:01 PM to report a burglar had entered her garage and damaged the property on the 2000 block of Center St. No stolen items were reported.

Theft: The bicycle of a 32-year-old Stevens Point woman was reported stolen by an unknown suspect on the 3000 block of Rice St. at 2:23 PM.

Probation Violation: Police arrested a 38-year-old Stevens Point man for violating his probation after he was reportedly driving erratically on Frederick St. N and John’s Dr. at 6:09 PM.

October 1

Soggy Sabotage: Police were called at 12:25 AM by a Country Inn and Suites employee who said an unknown suspect had intentionally cut two of the hotels water lines, causing considerable damage. Police reports list a 28-year-old Stevens Point man as a suspect.

Restraining Order: Police arrested a 29-year-old Waupaca man for knowingly violating a domestic abuse restraining order on the 2100 block of Dixon St. at 3:49 AM.

OWI: A 19-year-old Amherst woman was arrested for OWI and possession of drug paraphernalia after police responded to the 700 block of John’s Dr. for a welfare check at 12:42 PM.

Noisy Neighbor: A 28-year-old Stevens Point woman called police at 9 PM to report her upstairs neighbor, a 22-year-old male, was pounding on the floor and making other noises.

October 2

Theft: Two suspects, a 19-year-old Menominee County woman and 46-year-old Custer man, reportedly took property from the Church St. Dollar General Store in Stevens Point at 8:31 AM. The lost property was not listed by police.

Threats: Police were called at 9:37 AM with reports that a 34-year-old Stevens Point woman was allegedly being threatened by her ex-boyfriend, a 35-year-old Stevens Point man. No charges have been filed.

Crash: A 16-year-old Plover woman was cited for failure to yield while making a left turn and violating her GDL restrictions after crashing with a 21-year-old Niagara, Wis., woman on Division St. and North Point Dr. at 12:36 PM.

Mailbox Fatality: Police were called at 12:40 PM by an 80-year-old Stevens Point man who reported an unknown suspect had damaged his mailbox on the 2900 block of Cty. Rd. J.

Maybe Theft: A 26-year-old Stevens Point woman called police at 4:59 PM to report a 26-year-old Amherst man had allegedly stolen some unspecified items from her. The suspect denies the allegation.

Crash: Police cited a 26-year-old Lake Grove, N.Y. man with inattentive driving after he crashed with the vehicle of a 21-year-old Stevens Point man on Division St. and North Point Dr. at 7:18 PM.
