OWI: A 33-year-old Plover man was cited for OWI after being pulled over by police on Ellis and Division St. in Stevens Point at 1:30 AM.
Pay Attention: An unnamed suspect was cited for inattentive driving and operating without proof of insurance after crashing their vehicle at the junction of I39 and Cty. Rd. HH at 7:34 AM.
Text Trouble: Police were called at 6:48 PM by a 56-year-old Amherst woman who reported receiving threatening texts from a 41-year-old Stevens Point man. Police instructed both parties not to contact each other.
If You Like Pina Coladas: Police encountered a 32-year-old Junction City woman and a 26-year-old Wisconsin Rapids man dancing shirtless in the rain on the 100 block of Division St. at 8:12 PM. Both were told to move along.
Crash: An 18-year-old man was cited with following too closely with his vehicle after crashing with a 19-year-old Stevens Point woman on Vern Holmes and Business Park Dr. at 8:12 PM.
Lights Out: Police pulled over a 20-year-old Taylor Falls, Minn., woman and warned her for driving with a defective driver’s side taillight on Main St. and Minnesota Ave. at 9:19 PM.
