The Central Waters Brewing Company will provide community members with a chance to enjoy the beauty of the Tomorrow River and scenic country roads during the height of fall color season during its 11th annual River Run and Great Amherst Beer Festival.

The 11th annual River Run and Great Amherst Beer Festival begins at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, at the Central Waters Brewing Company in Amherst.

The run begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14, at the Central Waters Brewing Company, 351 Allen Street, Amherst, and participants are asked to arrive early this year due to the check-in lines being long.

“We were able to increase our registration numbers by 200 people this year,” said Chelsea Graham, the River Run’s race director for the past three years. “We have 1,400 people signed up, and registration is already closed. We sold out in record time for us.”
