Rookies Sportspub has announced it has just added a second show for internet comedy star Charlie Berens.

Owner Randy Woyak said the 7 PM show on Dec. 16, tickets for which went on sale at noon Oct. 10, “sold out in 12 minutes”.

“So we got permission to schedule another show,” Woyak said.

The star of the weekly online show called “The Manitowoc Minute” doles humor with an over-the-top Midwestern accent, along with phrases like, “dontcha know?”.

The second show of stand-up comedy, news, music and “a couple two three other surprises” on Dec. 16 has been scheduled for 9:30 PM.

Tickets go on sale Oct. 10 at 7 PM at brownpapertickets.com, and cost $25 per person. A limited number of meet-and-greet tickets costing $35 for the second show will be available at Rookies on Wednesday, Woyak said.

Rookies Sportspub is located at 3425 Church Street.
