Windshield Wiped: A 22-year-old Rothschild woman reported an unknown suspect had damaged her vehicle’s windshield while parked on Main and Second St. in Stevens Point at 12:10 AM.

OWI: Police cited a 20-year-old Stevens Point man with his first OWI and failure to keep his vehicle under control following a stop on Division and Ellis St. at 12:34 AM.

Theft: Police responded to the Stevens Point Shopko store at 9:09 AM in response to an attempted theft by a 35-year-old Stevens Point man. No citations or stolen items were reported.

School Is Cool: A 17-year-old Stevens Point woman and 15-year-old man were cited for truancy from Stevens Point Area Senior High School at 9:40 AM.

Crash: A 29-year-old Wisconsin Rapids woman was cited for inattentive driving and operating without insurance after crashing with a 56-year-old Stevens Point woman on the I39 and Cty. Rd. HH junction at 10:20 AM.

Railroad Aerobics: A 35-year-old Nekoosa man was reported sitting on the railroad right-of-way north of the Skyward building and east of the I39 overpass in Stevens Point at 10:38 AM. The man was waving his arms around but not calling for help. Police report he was just exercising.

Trash Insurance: Police were called with reports of a 49-year-old Stevens Point man sitting by the entrance of the Strongs Ave. Sentry Insurance building and throwing trash into the bushes. The man picked up his trash and moved on.

Drunk and Disorderly: A 49-year-old Stevens Point man was arrested for disorderly conduct and battery or threats to a law enforcement officer after police responded to the 1000 block of Main St. in response to reports of an intoxicated male.
