Donald E. Repinski

Donald E. Repinski, 83, Plover, died Friday, Oct. 6, 2017, at Cranberry Court, Wisconsin Rapids, under the care of the staff and Aspirus Hospice.
He was born June 25, 1934, to the late Edward and Tilly (Kostuchowski) Repinski.
He graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in 1952. He worked at Weber Tackle and then joined the U.S. Army after graduation.
He ended his career at Consolidated Papers Whiting Division as store keeper.
He was a former State Champion Trap Shooter and also participated in the Nationals. He received many trophies. He loved to take long rides on his motorcycle, long walks through Plover and rode his bicycle. He took pride in his photography.
He also was an avid deer hunter, getting a deer nearly every year on land near Meadow Valley.
He was married to Joan Allworden July 11, 1988, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church. They later divorced.
He enjoyed spending time with his stepchildren, and would regularly go to lunch or dinner and go through photo albums with the youngest, Vicki.
Survivors include his ex-wife, Joan Allworden; four stepchildren, Kevin (Claire) Weslaski, Allen Weslaski, Amy (Larry) White and Vicki Ironside; six stepgrandchildren, Sterling Netzer, Devin Brown, Paige Weslaski, James Weslaski, Cody Kolo and Bradley Ironside; and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a stepson, Allen Weslaski.
The family would like to thank the staff at Cranberry Court, Aspirus Riverview Hospital and Aspirus Hospice Services for their care, and to Rev. Joseph of St. Peter Catholic Church.
A private service will be held at a later date.
