Oct. 13

Vandalism: A 60-year-old man reported someone vandalized his Frontage Ln. home at 10:03 AM.

They’ll Never Match Again: A 27-year-old man called deputies to report his estranged wife, 23, stole a comforter set and mattress pad from his home on County Tk. EE in Almost at 7:20 PM.

Stoned and Driving: Police arrested a 31-year-old man on charges of bail-jumping, possession of THC and paraphernalia after he was busted for driving under the influence at 12:52 PM near Patch St. and Indiana Ave.

Party Hardy: Police responded to a loud party complaint on the 2000 block of College Ave. at 8:53 PM.

Nosy Neighbor: Officers responded to a report of loud music and people on the 1200 block of Fifth Ave. at 9:59 PM.

Sensing a Pattern: A 22-year-old man was warned for hosting a loud party on the 1300 block of Second St. at 11:47 PM.

Mailbox Thief: A 28-year-old man from the 2300 block of Main St. reported someone had stolen his mailbox at 8 PM.

Oct. 14

OWI, Oh My: Police arrested a 19-year-old man on a warrant arrest and multiple other charges, to include possession of a controlled substance, possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also cited for operating without his headlights, operating after revocation and operating under the influence during a traffic stop at Maria Dr. and Reserve St. at 1:46 AM.

Kwik Trip & Roll: An employee of Kwik Trip on Maria Dr. called police to report an unknown man stole two egg rolls at 2:57 AM.

Pot Patrol: Three 19-year-old men were cited for possession of THC during a traffic stop at Maria Dr. and Reserve St. at 1:46 AM.

Bottle Fatigue: Deputies arrested a 44-year-old man was arrested after a caller reported he was throwing bottles at a Main St. window in Amherst at 4:22 AM.

Duke’n It Out: Two 21-year-old men were cited for disorderly conduct after they got into a fight on the 1200 block of Franklin St. at 8:54 PM.

Mailbox Fatality: A 50-year-old woman reported someone damaged her Heffron St. mailbox at 5 AM.

No More Mail: A 37-year-old woman reported receiving “unwanted mail” at her Blaine St. home at 2:35 PM. The nature of the mail was not identified.

Borrowed And Busted: A 73-year-old man called deputies to report a 30-year-old man had returned his vehicle with damages, but noted a phone and television also taken had not been returned to the 2000 block of Locust St. at 2:27 PM.

Oct. 15

Get Your Story Straight: Police were called to the intersection of Portage and First streets at 10:08 AM after a caller reported a robbery there. According to police records, the story “changed three times”. It was not immediately clear what was taken.

Unenlightened: Police cited a 20-year-old man who was driving after suspension and without his lights on at the Downtown Square at 2:54 AM.
