Community members looking for a night filled with singing, dancing, and creepy, kooky Halloween fun will find it in the Central Wisconsin Area Community Theater (cwACT)’s production of the Addams Family Musical.

Performances will be the weekends before and after Halloween, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, Oct. 27-28 and Nov. 3-4, and at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 29, at Sentry Theater in Stevens Point.

“Cast members are going above and beyond for this show,” said Joe Bachman, producer of the Addams Family Musical. “It’s an extremely talented cast, and (attending) is well worth it.”

The show focuses on the iconic Addams Family, who rejoice in pain and scariness and are filled with spirit appropriate for Halloween. One fateful night, Wednesday Addams invites her boyfriend’s sweet, kind family over for dinner, and the Addams’ are faced with change and, even scarier, “puppy love.”

Tickets for the show are $18 for adults, and $9 for children under 12, and can be purchased online at cwTickets.com, by calling 715-498-2339, through the mail (please call for mail order ticket fees) or at the door. CwACT does apply a veteran and student discount.
