Keith F. Iris, 78, Stevens Point, died Saturday, Oct. 21, 2017, at Ascension St. Michael’s Hospital, Stevens Point.

A memorial service will be at noon Thursday Oct. 26, at the Shuda Funeral Chapel – Stevens Point.  Friends and family will gather to share memories from 10 to 11:45 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral chapel.

Keith was born in Antigo, the son of James E. and Margaret V. (nee Kelly) Iris Aug. 25, 1939, attended local Antigo schools, and graduated from Antigo High School in 1957. He moved to the Stevens Point area in 1961 and was initially employed in the potato industry with Robert Sweet Company. He later was employed mainly in transportation with Russet Potato Exchange for 31 years, retiring in 2006.

He was married to Judith Seymour in 1962; they later divorced.

He was then married to Barbara (White) Cornwell in 1982.

His favorite times and memories in life were his grandchildren, family fishing trip to Canada, Green Bay Packers, Wisconsin Badgers and Milwaukee Brewers games, classic cars, playing cards, doing crossword puzzles, and board games with family, his special dogs and cats, attending concerts, and traveling (with occasional visits to casinos).

Survivors include his wife, Barbara; son, Keith Jr. (Sunshine) Iris; daughter, Kathleen Kelly Iris; stepdaughter, Jodi Cornwell (Steve) Goldberg; stepson, Bryan (Christina) Cornwell; grandchildren Jordan and Abigail, Max, Noah and Benjamin; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, James and Eugene; and three sisters, Virginia Iris, Margaret Gatton and Luella Durchrow.
