October 20

OWI: Police arrested a 37-year-old Stevens Point man for OWI causing an injury and operating a motorcycle without a license after he hit a deer while travelling on North Point Dr. at 12:51 AM.

Theft And Drugs: After being caught attempting to steal from Walmart, a 26-year-old Stevens Point woman was arrested for possession of THC and drug paraphernalia at 2:12 AM.

Unwanted Entry: A 24-year-old Stevens Point woman called police at 7:29 AM to report her ex-husband, a 25-year-old Stevens Point man, entered her home on the 6300 block of Oak Lane Ct. without her permission.

What A Tool: A 30-year-old Wisconsin Rapids man was arrested for theft and bail jumping at 8:50 AM after stealing tools from the home of a 33-year-old Stevens Point man. The tools were later found at a pawn shop in Nekoosa.

Extended Stay: After staying at the Stevens Point Econolodge hotel since Aug. 17, a 28-year-old Plover woman was arrested for fraud on hotel at 10:38 AM when she wouldn’t pay her bill of $834.77.

Bad Roommate: A 31-year-old Stevens Point man called police at 2:36 PM to report a 30-year-old woman, his live-in ex-girlfriend, had stolen the keys to his truck and used his debit card without permission. The suspect was arrested for violating her probation.

OWI: Police arrested a 40-year-old Plover man for OWI on Water and Clark St. in Stevens Point at 9:22 PM.

October 21

3rd OWI: A 32-year-old Plover man was cited for his third offense of OWI, operating with a revoked license, operating without proof of insurance and failing to maintain his tail lights at 12:26 AM on Fourth Ave. and Forest St. in Stevens Point.

And Another: A 40-year-old Stevens Point man was cited for his third offense of OWI, deviation from his designated lane and failing to stop for officers on the 700 block of Fifth Ave. at 1:15 AM.

Vandalized: Police arrested a 22-year-old Stevens Point man for criminal damage to property and felony bail jumping after he was caught vandalizing a home on the 2400 block of Ellis St. at 2:09 AM.

Close Shave: Police were called at 12:30 PM by a 40-year-old Plover man who reported a 40-year-old Stevens Point man had backed out of the 2nd Street Pub parking lot and sideswiped his vehicle. The suspect was arrested for violating his probation.

October 22

Theft: Police were called at 12:30 AM by a 24-year-old Stevens Point woman who reported her iPhone was stolen while at Graffiti’s Sports Pub.

OWI: A 26-year-old Plover man was arrested for OWI after being pulled over by police on Portage and Division St. at 1:46 AM.
