Islam, Christian faiths different, but can live together
To the Editor:
The Islamic belief and the Christian belief are two separate faiths. We do not serve the same god. Even a Muslim will agree to that.
I believe a few so called liberals in the Stevens Point area need to read the Koran. Especially women, for in the Koran, you are third-class citizens. I dare any so called liberal to tell a Muslim their faith; god is not real. Just as you do toward the Christian faith.
Muslims do not believe Jesus is the son of God, we do. We believe He came down to die on the cross for all of mankind’s sins. That through His blood on the cross, you are saved. His name alone is our salvation. That on the third day He rose and ascended into heaven and sits on the right hand of God.
The Koran does not teach that. As well under a barbaric law called Sharia, Muslims are allowed to kill a daughter who disgraces the family name, called “honor killing.” It has taken place twice now on American soil. Wrong.
Muslim women are not allowed to partake in government under the Islam ISIS, Taliban, Al-Qaida. Hamas want to bring to America. Christian women can marry who they want. My God does not teach followers to kill those who reject Him – no beheadings.
Yes, within all faiths there are those who corrupt its teachings, however, read the Koran. They allow forced conversion to that faith. They want to pass a law that it is a hate crime to even question Islam. Yet so called liberals slander Christians every day.
Now, if Muslims would not force their faith in America and tolerate all faiths, then we can live together. Yet again, read their Koran and note, they believe Islam is the only true faith. Look to Muslim nations under Taliban, no other religion is in that land.
No, we are not the same, nor serve the same god. I have no problem with a Muslim as long as they obey American laws. Leave others alone. Sure, you can preach your faith, let others come freely. Push, and we’ll push harder back. We support Israel, Muslims want to destroy them.
