Fraud: A 30-year-old Stevens Point man called police at 9:09 AM to report being victim of fraudulent theft by a 43-year-old Stevens Point woman.
Crash: After crashing with the vehicle of a 75-year-old man on Minnesota Ave. and Stanley St. at 11:25 AM, a 20-year-old Stevens Point man was cited for failing to yield the right of way from a stop sign.
Purse Pilfered: Police were called at 11:34 AM by a 21-year-old New London woman who reported a wallet was stolen from her purse while at Graffiti’s in Stevens Point. No suspect is known.
Probation Violation: A 21-year-old Stevens Point man was arrested for violating his probation after police responded to a disturbance between him and a 25-year-old Stevens Point woman on the 900 block of First St. at 12:37 PM.
Dog On Duty: Portage County Sheriff’s Office K9 unit, Lady, conducted a sniff of a vehicle on Dixon St. and Illinois Ave. in Stevens Point at 6 PM. Lady indicated possible drugs on the passenger side of the vehicle. A search uncovered marijuana and drug paraphernalia. No suspect was reported.
Suspect At Cinema: Police arrested a 37-year-old Stevens Point man for felony bail jumping after he was reportedly engaging in unspecified suspicious activity in the Rogers Cinema 7 parking lot at 7:07 PM.
