Citing a board member’s conflict with another meeting, the Park Ridge Village Board wrapped up its regular meeting Monday, Oct. 23, with little discussion, choosing to table the language for the Fire Protection Advisory referendum, the 2018 budget and paving the walkway easement on Odessa Court.

Board members at the outset mentioned the desire to attend another meeting scheduled the same night dealing with highway issues, so a special meeting was set for next week to discussion the budget, and other items were delayed until November.

The board scheduled a special meeting to go over the entire 2018 budget for 5:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 30. Board President Trish Baker said the most recent draft had the village about $16,000 over budget, so the board will need to look at the entire budget to see what can be moved around.
