With its top six runners back from last year, as well as a couple of new additions, the Rosholt High School boys cross country team will look to contend for a State Title this weekend.

Rosholt High School junior Adam Rzentkowski finished fourth overall last year at the WIAA Division 3 State Meet at The Ridges Golf Course in Wisconsin Rapids.

The second-ranked Hornets finished with 43 points to win the WIAA Division 3 Sectional at Athens Friday, Oct. 20, and earn their fourth consecutive trip to the WIAA Division 3 State Meet, which will be held at The Ridges Golf Course in Wisconsin Rapids at 2:35 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28.

“Hopefully we’re going to end with a glorious finish,” said Rosholt boys cross country head coach Mike Trzebiatowski. “And everybody does their part by chipping in wherever that might be.”
