Edwina “Etta” P. Rzentkowski, 98, formerly of the town of Stockton, died Monday, Oct. 30, 2017, at Brookdale Assisted Living in Stevens Point. She was under the care of Heartland Hospice Care.

She was born Jan. 22, 1919, in the town of Stockton, daughter of the late Martin and Rose (Gosh) Kruzitski.

She attended local schools. Her marriage to Emil Rzentkowski took place April 12, 1937. After the marriage, the couple settled in the town of Stockton. He died Oct. 19, 2003.

She worked for the Copps Corporation for 27 years. She enjoyed gardening, canning, gambling and playing cards.

Survivors include her two sons, Arnold (Keeli), Arizona, and Fred (Tami), Stevens Point; a daughter, Rose Ann (Jerome) Ostrowski, Elderon; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; sisters; Gertrude Ksionsk, Jeanie (Richard) Daniels, both of Stevens Point, and Rosie (John) Boursier, California.

She was preceded in death by one grandson and several brothers and sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 3, 2017, at St. Mary Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Custer, the Rev. Roy Witucki officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery, Wisconsin Rapids. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, at the Pisarski Funeral Home, Stevens Point, with a parish rosary being prayed at 6 p.m. and again from 10:30 a.m. until time of service Friday at the church.
