October 27

OWI: A 41-year-old Stevens Point man was cited for OWI after being stopped by police on Rice St. and Minnesota Ave. at 2:29 AM.

Crash: Police responded to the intersection of North Point Dr. and Prentice St. in Stevens Point at 12:29 PM following a two-vehicle crash between a 41-year-old Ringle man and 27-year-old Schaumburg, Ill., man. No citations were issued.

Click It Or Ticket(s): Police pulled over a 34-year-old Stevens Point woman on the 300 block of Michigan Ave. at 1:09 PM where she was cited for not wearing her seat belt, non-registration of her vehicle and driving without a valid license.

Crash: A 17-year-old Stevens Point boy was cited for failing to yield the right-of-way from a stop sign after crashing with a 33-year-old Wisconsin Rapids man on Stanley St. and Minnesota Ave. at 2:41 PM.

Exhausted License: Police cited a 50-year-old Stevens Point man with failing to properly maintain his exhaust system and driving with a revoked license on Main and Fremont St. at 7:10 PM.

OWI: After an initial traffic stop for driving without headlights on West Clark and West Whitney St., police arrested a 24-year-old Stevens Point man for OWI at 9:34 PM.

October 28

Car Keyed: Police were called at 2:00 AM by a 21-year-old Stevens Point who reported an unknown suspect had keyed his car sometime that evening.

OWI: A 37-year-old Wisconsin Rapids man was cited for OWI, operating without a valid license and speeding after being stopped by deputies on Hwy. 66 W and Ole River Rd. in Stevens Point at 2:45 AM.

Young And In Trouble: A 20-year-old Stevens Point man was cited for underage drinking on the 2200 block of Monroe St. at 4:11 AM.

Vandals: Police were called 10:18 AM by the 5 Loaves and 2 Fish Christian book store with a report that an unknown suspect had painted a possibly anti-Christian symbol on their window.

No License To Drive: Police cited a 27-year-old Stevens Point man with operating a vehicle without insurance and operating with a revoked license after pulling him over on Matilda and Water St. at 2:42 PM.

Resistance Is Futile: Police arrested a 47-year-old Stevens Point man for disorderly conduct and resisting or obstructing an officer after they responded to reports of threatening behavior on the 2600 block of Indiana Ave. at 4:45 PM.

No Objects In The Mirror: A 74-year-old Stevens Point called police at 6 PM to report an unknown suspect had damaged the driver’s side mirrors on two of his vehicle parked on the 1900 block of Clark St.

Probation Violation: After being pulled over for operating with a revoked license on Michigan Ave. and Patch St. at 6:24 PM, a 20-year-old Stevens Point man was arrested for two counts of violating his probation.

October 29

Crash: Police cited a 20-year-old Stevens Point man with unsafe backing of his vehicle and operating without insurance after he crashed on the 2300 block of Wyatt Ave. at 1:03 PM.

Dented Downtown: Police were called at 7:34 PM by a 20-year-old Wausau man who said an unknown suspect had kicked and dented his truck while parked on the 1100 block of Centerpoint Dr. in Stevens Point.

Crash: A 20-year-old Kaukauna man was cited for failing to yield the right-of-way from a stop sign after crashing with a 37-year-old Plover woman on Main and Phillips St. in Stevens Point at 8:05 PM.

Pot Present: Police report that a 20-year-old Stevens Point man allegedly smoked marijuana in front of his 3-year-old son on the 2100 block of Water St. No citations were issued.
