Welcoming the cold front with change in season

The weather forecast was for colder temperatures and rain. Highs in the 50s, and falling temperatures throughout the week. Rain on Sunday and Monday and Tuesday. By Thursday, rain returns and temperatures overnight would drop below freezing.

By the upcoming weekend, highs during the days are predicted to only reach the low 40s. One weatherperson was bold enough to utter the “s” word – calling for possible snow flurries. Change your furnace filter now and throw another log on the fire.
