Joyce L. Wolfe, 85, Stevens Point, died Friday, Nov. 10, 2017, at the Atrium Post-Acute Care Center, Wisconsin Rapids.

She was born Oct. 15, 1932, in Almond, the daughter of the late Ralph and Lisetta (Piotraschke) Adams. She was married to Paul Wolfe Oct. 29, 1955, he preceded her in death on Nov. 9, 1976.

Joyce worked for Woolworth’s in Stevens Point.  She then took time off to raise her family.  She later returned to work at Kmart and Hancock Fabrics in Stevens Point.  She also was volunteer at Ascension St. Michael’s Hospital in Stevens Point.  Joyce loved music, she loved to dance and as a young girl sang in the Church choir and for many weddings and funerals.  In later years she enjoyed the company of her four-legged grandchildren and spoiled them rotten.

Survivors include two daughters, Linda Wolfe and Patricia Wolfe both of Stevens Point; one brother-in-law, Jack Ward of Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by one sister: Carol Ward and one infant sister: Lorena.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday November 14, 2017, at 9:30 a.m. in the Guardian Angel Cemetery in Stevens Point. Pisarski Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family.  For online condolences please visit www.pisarskifuneralhome.com.

The family would like to thank Ascension Ministry Home Care Hospice and the staff at the Atrium in Wisconsin Rapids for all their care.
