47th Tinsel Trail offers holiday magic

The giving season is upon us once again, meaning nearly everyone is in need of a new list of gifts to give for this year. Luckily, the Junior Woman’s Club (JWC) of Stevens Point provides the perfect way to get a jump start on some holiday shopping.
The 47th annual Tinsel Trail fundraiser will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19, at the Holiday Inn and Convention Center, Stevens Point.
The event features hundreds of arts and crafts vendors, with countless unique and seasonal homemade gift ideas. The event is so popular amongst craft vendors that most of last year’s merchants signed back up to show at this year’s event, too, leaving just 10 spots open – and they were filled right away this past February.
“We look forward to this show every year,” said Kim Carter of Willow Street Crafts in Reedsburg. “We love it. So many friendly customers, and the people that run it are very accommodating and easy to work with. We look forward to seeing our customers.”
