Wrong Way: Police pulled over a 59-year-old Mississippi man who was driving the wrong direction on Clark St. near Division St. at 6:20 AM. The driver was given a verbal warning.

Voicemail Victim: A 59-year-old Stevens Point woman reported receiving threats from a known 45-year-old Brule, Wis., man at 8:52 AM.

Crash: Officers responded to the intersection of Church and Francis St. at 11:56 AM where a 51-year-old Plover woman had crashed her vehicle with a 16-year-old Stevens Point boy’s. No citations were issued.

Trash Cache: Police were called at 1:43 PM by a 26-year-old Stevens Point man who reported a 62-year-old Custer man was going through his trash on the 200 block of Prentice St. He feared the man was stealing his personal information.

Day Report Drugs: A 33-year-old Bevent man was arrested for a second offense of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia while making his day report to the Portage County Jail at 3:30 PM.

Friar Felony: Police arrested a 51-year-old man for disorderly conduct, resisting or obstructing an officer, threats to injure or accuse of a crime and possession of drug paraphernalia after causing a disturbance and refusing to leave Franciscans Downtown in Stevens Point at 4:04 PM.

Sibling Rivalry: A 20-year-old Stevens Point woman was arrested for disorderly conduct after police responded to a physical fight between her and her 19-year-old sister on the 3400 block of Church St. at 7:23 PM.

OWI: Police arrested a 52-year-old Stevens Point man for his second OWI and failure to keep his vehicle under control on the 300 block of North Point Dr. at 9:31 PM.
