The Stevens Point Sculpture Park received a private donation from the Koziol Family to support the addition of new sculptures. The donation will support part of “Out of the Woods: A Grand Entrance,” a large-scale artist residency project that has brought several internationally renowned artists to central Wisconsin.

The residency was hosted during the month of October, and created four permanent large-scale sculptures in the Stevens Point Sculpture Park. The goal was to establish a stronger visual presence for the 20-acre park.

“Out of the Woods opens up the sculpture park, welcoming visitors to view works via the road or within the park along the pathways. The mission of the Stevens Point Sculpture Park is to provide free and accessible artwork to the community, and we are doing just that,” said Elizabeth Wellso, the current Stevens Point Sculpture Park board chair.
