Minnie F. Wanta
Minnie F. Wanta, 99, Stevens Point, formerly of Galloway, died Friday, Nov. 17, 2017, at North Crest Assisted Living, Stevens Point.
She was born Jan. 29, 1918, in the town of Alban, the daughter of the late Paul and Martha (Trzecinski) Yach.
Her marriage to Ben Wanta took place Nov. 18, 1935. Ben died Dec. 12, 1990.
Minnie enjoyed gardening, baking, canning and playing bingo.
She is survived by one sister, Gertrude Glodowski, Rosholt; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass was Monday, Nov. 20, 2017, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galloway. Rev. Agustine Bentil officiated. Burial was in the Parish cemetery. Visitation was Monday at the church.
