Nocturnal Knocks: A 44-year-old Stevens Point woman was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting or obstructing an officer after police were called to the 600 block of Johns Dr. at 4:46 AM. The suspect was reportedly knocking on various people’s doors.
Purse Pinched: At 7:03 AM, a 28-year-old Stevens Point woman reported an unknown suspect stole her purse from her car parked on the 200 block of Linwood Ave.
Counterfeit Cash: Police were called to the Maria Dr. Kwik Trip store at 12:20 PM where a 36-year-old Stevens Point man attempted to make a purchase with a counterfeit bill. No citations were reported.
Crash: A 20-year-old Plover woman was cited for unsafe backing of her vehicle after she crashed with 50-year-old Stevens Point woman on Isadore and Franklin St. at 1:40 PM.
Disgruntled Employee: Staff from My Innovative Services in Stevens Point called police at 3:12 PM to report a 37-year-old Stevens Point man who was recently fired from the business was making comments about following staff members. No citations were issued.
Driving Dark: A 29-year-old Stevens Point man was cited for operating a bicycle without headlights after he crashed with the car of a 52-year-old Stevens Point woman on Rice and Church St. at 5:11 PM.
No License to Drive: Police cited a 28-year-old Plover man with his second offense of operating with a revoked license after pulling him over on Post Rd. and Minnesota Ave. in Stevens Point at 8:14 PM.
