Kenneth D. Glazer, 93, Stevens Point, died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2017, at his residence.

He was born Oct. 2, 1924, in Milwaukee, son of the late Phil and Elva (Schultz) Glazer.

He entered the U.S. Army Air Force Dec. 4, 1942, in Milwaukee. He received four overseas service bars, European-African-Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon with one Silver Battle Star and one Bronze Battle Star, Good Conduct Medal and World War II Victory Medal.

He was honorably discharged Nov. 13, 1945, at Camp Grant, Ill.

His marriage to Virginia Lodzinski took place Aug. 2, 1947, at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Mill Creek. The couple celebrated 70 years of marriage this past August.

He was employed at Santa Fe and Soo Line Railroads and Consolidated Papers.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia; five daughters, Cheryl Glazer, Stevens Point, Kathy (Ed) Baumhofer, Eagle, Sandy (Terry Mathis) Rusch, Helena, Mont., Mary (Mark Moss) Glazer, Greenville, N.C., and Lori (Jim) Gooden, Minneapolis, Minn.; one son, Kent (Ann) Glazer, Stevens Point; 19 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Jean Ekelin; and one brother, David Glazer.

A Funeral Mass was Monday, Nov. 27, 2017, at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Mill Creek. Burial with full military honors followed in the Parish cemetery. Visitation was Monday morning prior to services with a rosary prayed at the church.
