Henrietta Hintz, age 78 of Rosholt, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2017 at Brookdale Assisted Living after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

She was born March 29, 1939 in Shantytown. She is the daughter of Joseph & Bertha (Grulkowski) Singer. Her marriage to Raymond Hintz took place on October 12, 1957 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Torun.

After marriage, Ray and Henrietta lived in Milwaukee for several years. They then made their home in Rosholt where Ray and Henrietta raised their five children. They had a hobby farm where they raised beef and later veal.

Ray passed away June 6, 2004 after receiving loving care from Henrietta for many years going through a similar battle with Alzheimer’s. She was member of St. Adalbert Rosary Society, was a Eucharistic Minister and was very active in her Parish. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and embroidering.

Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and her grandchildren. Survivors include two sons: Scott (Susan) Hintz of Plover & Thomas (Jacqueline) Hintz of Rosholt; three daughters: Lisa (Jim) Richter of Rosholt, Diane (Wayne) Garski of Rosholt and Jennifer (Chad) Malek of Rosholt; 13 grandchildren: Amanda, Jessica, Emily, Margaret, Chelsea, Kristin, Kimberley, Robert, Travis, Hunter, Erin, Adam and Jacob; and two great-grandchildren: Hadleigh & Grayson; one brother: Norbert (Loretta) Singer of Custe; two sisters-in-law: Mary Singer of Custer and Andrea Singer of Stevens Point.

She was preceded in death by one granddaughter: Nicole Rae Richter; five brothers: Leonard, Conrad, Robert, Louis & Richard Singer; two sisters: Rose Domka & Delores Garski.

Funeral Mass will be at 11 AM on Saturday Dec. 2, 2017 at St. Adalbert Catholic Church in Rosholt. Rev. Jeffrey Hennes will officiate. Burial will take place in the Parish cemetery. Visitation will be at the Church from 9:00 AM Saturday until the time of services.

Pisarski Funeral Home of Stevens Point is honored to be serving the family. In lieu of flowers a memorial in her name will be established at a later date. For online condolences please visit www.pisarskifuneralhome.com

We will always remember our family Sunday get-togethers and the wonderful meals you prepared for us. We will miss you dearly. Although our hearts are heavy, we take comfort knowing that you are once again with the love of your life…..Hugs and kisses until we meet again.

Henrietta’s family would like to thank the caregivers at Brookdale Assisted Living and Heartland Hospice for all their wonderful care.
