Pacelli Co-op boys hockey team off to 2-3 start

The Pacelli Co-op boys hockey team, comprised of players from Pacelli, Amherst, Almond-Bancroft, Iola-Scandinavia and Wisconsin Rapids Assumption high schools, went 2-3 in the last week to begin the 2017-18 season.
The Cardinals opened with a 4-3 win over East Merrill Tuesday, Nov. 21.
“It was a win,” said Pacelli Co-op boys hockey head coach Rusty Mitch. “We’d rather win ugly than lose ugly.
“We made a few mistakes but had some good puck movement too,” he said. “Monday was our only practice with the full squad (Amherst and Iola-Scandinavia played in State Championship Games for football the previous Thursday).”

Junior goalie Trevin Milbauer and the Pacelli co-op boys hockey team are off to a 2-3 start this season.
