Pacelli Girls Down St. Mary’s Catholic

The Pacelli girls basketball team took a 52-27 win over St. Mary’s Catholic High School in game three of the Sentry Classic Basketball Tournament Thursday afternoon at UW-Stevens Point Quandt Fieldhouse.
With the win, Pacelli moves to 7-2 on the season. St. Mary’s, out of the Big East conference sits at 8-2 overall.
Pacelli lit up the board early and went to the halftime break up 27-17. Sophomore Sarah Mueller lit up the board with nine first half points enroute to a game leading total eighteen. Senior Morgan Kuckkahn dropped in 15 points on the night.
Junior Abbi Thelen led St. Mary’s with 13 points, the lone Zephyr to reach double figures.
