Purcells celebrate 60th Wedding Anniversary
Dick and Barbara Purcell of Stevens Point will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Jan. 11, 2018. The celebration began with an August gathering at the Purcell cottage at Sunset Lake, and concluded with a family dinner in December at the Amber Grill.
The former Barbara Jurgella and Dick Purcell were married Jan. 11, 1958, at St. Stanislaus Church in Stevens Point. Dick is retired from Sentry Insurance and Barbara is retired from the Stevens Point School District.
The couple has four children: Peg (Jim) Milosevich, Minnesota, Pat (Sharon) Purcell, Washington, Pam Purcell, Wisconsin, Jacque (Mike) Anderson, Minnesota and seven grandchildren: Michael, Matthew, Megan, Sam, Lindsay, Erin and Ava.
