George J. Dziedzic, 79, of Rosholt, died Monday Jan. 1, 2018, at Northridge Assisted Living in Stevens Point.  He was born Oct. 5, 1938, in the Town of Alban, the son of the late Joseph & Frances (Klayda) Dziedzic.

His marriage to Eileen Schuster took place in Milwaukee June 22, 1963.  She died Aug. 4, 2007.  He later married Laurette Poltzer and the couple divorced.   He was employed by Donaldson Company in Stevens Point, retiring May 8, 2003.

George was a dedicated volunteer at the Lincoln Center in Stevens Point and also enjoyed fishing, gardening, polka music and socializing with family and friends.

Survivors include two sons: Leo Dziedzic and Steve (Lori) Dziedzic both of Stevens Point.  Four Grandsons: Matthew, Joseph, Daniel & Michael.  One sister: Alvina Wysocki of Stevens Point. One daughter-in-law: Pattie Dziedzic of Stevens Point, he also is survived by numerous other family and friends.  He is preceded in death by 1 son: Joseph, 3 brothers & 2 sisters.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 5, 2018, at St. Adalbert Catholic Church in Rosholt. Rev. Jeffrey Hennes will officiate.  Burial will take place in the Parish cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time for Mass Friday at the church. Pisarski Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family. For online condolences, visit www.pisarskifuneralhome.com.
