PLOVER — Multiple complaints have come in over the past few weeks regarding a local unknown voyeur in the area.
While the situation presents no immediate danger, the alleged peeping-tom has made its way to multiple residences in the Plover area, resulting in various reports of a person looking into their windows. Police have opened an investigation into the matter, and have increased patrol in affected areas. As a result, Police are reminding residents to be a little more cognizant of their homes for the time being.
“If they see anybody suspicious, or see any suspicious foot tracks in the snow, by all means, give us a call,” said Lieutenant Ryan Fox. “If there’s a pattern, it helps us focus patrol on a certain area.”
Multiple residents have reported the activity to stem from the Springville Pond area, as well as on Plover Springs Dr. According to an unnamed resident, a report was given to police regarding a similar incident.
“I went to look out our front window and caught a dark figure standing at side doorways to our garage. I yelled and flipped on all the exterior lights, the guy ran off through my neighbors yard.”
