The Cardinals (8-2, 3-1) rolled to a 52-27 win over St. Mary Catholic (8-4) Thursday, Dec. 28, and then came back in the second half to win 49-40 over Osseo-Fairchild (6-3) in their Girls American Division finale Saturday, Dec. 30, at Bennett Court at Quandt Fieldhouse.
“It’s a big deal,” said second-year Pacelli girls basketball head coach Jake Jalling. “That was something that we wanted to do all year.
“Also, it’s the first time that we’ve won five in a row since 2012, so it’s big for the girls,” he said. “They’re enjoying it.”
