SBDC to Offer Free Small Business Seminar

STEVENS POINT — Are you considering going into business for yourself? Or are you in business already, and wondering where things are going to go from here?
The Small Business Development Center at UW-Stevens Point is offering a no-cost seminar entitled “Starting and Surviving in Business: Planning for Business Success”, on Wednesday, Jan. 10, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Portage County Business Council, 5501 Vern Holmes Dr.
Presented by Jeff Ebel, SCORE volunteer and small business owner, the workshop will emphasize developing your mission statement, and what will be required of you to successfully manage your own business. SCORE is a volunteer, non-profit organization that acts as counselors to America’s small business. It does not market any products, and all services are provided at no charge to clients.
