The Panthers (6-2, 2-0) took control late in the first half of a 64-49 win over Burlington (5-3) Friday, Dec. 29, and then proved to be too much for Green Bay Southwest (7-3) in a 70-49 win in the finale of the 46th Sentry Classic at Bennett Court at Quandt Fieldhouse Saturday, Dec. 30.
“It was a great team win,” said senior guard Brennan Mueller of the Southwest game. “We had people step up and make shots, and overall our team played very well on defense and on the offensive end.”
