Wisconsin Moves Forward Because of Focus on Fundamentals

MADISON — Sen. Patrick Testin issued a statement on the Governor’s State of the State Address.

“Eight years ago, Wisconsin’s unemployment rate was over nine percent; today it’s dropped to a historically low three percent. Those aren’t just numbers in a ledger – those are lives changed for the better. Wisconsin is on the right track, and we’ll stay on the right track if we continue to focus on the issues that matter the most – educating the next generation, working to ensure access to health care, and making sure those that are able to work have the opportunity to work. I will continue to support investments in our children, in rural health care access, and in workforce development.”

Patrick Testin (R-Stevens Point) is the Senator for Wisconsin’s 24th District.
