PABS to Host Sweet Delta Dawn in February

STEVENS POINT — Madison’s favorite jam band Sweet Delta Dawn is playing their first show in Stevens Point this February. On Friday, Feb. 9, Sweet Delta Dawn & Stevens Point’s very own Soul Symmetry will rock the PABS with a full night of jams.
Sweet Delta Dawn is a four piece rock ensemble from Madison, Wisconsin consisting of a talented group of musicians/songwriters. Starting in 2012, Sweet Delta Dawn has been a staple in the Madison jam community ever since. Together, they tell a futuristic tale of American life with a wholesome blend of the past. Covering a variety of folk, classic rock, jazz, funk, and modern music alongside a multicultural mix of rhythms, their music creates a platform for people to feel free and expressive.
Heavily inspired by bands like The Grateful Dead, Phish, The Beatles, The Allman Brothers Band, and Pink Floyd, Sweet Delta Dawn brings miles of smiles everywhere they go. Sweet Delta Dawn is a four piece band consisting of Tyler Willenbrink on drums and vocals, Jeff Clarke on bass and vocals, Jack Peterson on guitar and vocals, and Jay Vollberg on keyboards and vocals. They are one of the hottest up and coming Jam Bands in the Madison, Wisconsin area. “You will love Sweet Delta Dawn!” raves The Frequency.

Spoken of by fans as “an awesome local band,” Sweet Delta Dawn brings good energy, mind-bending vibrations, and fun times to every show. Sweet Delta Dawn’s appearances include festivals such as ‘The Family Gathering’, who called the band “another one of our great acts,” as well as Toodeloo Music Festival, who recommends you “Get up to speed with some Sweet Delta Dawn.” Sweet Delta Dawn has also performed at Downtown Madison’s “Live & Local” event two years in a row.
The 46th & 47th Annual Great Midwest Marijuana Harvest Festivals, Bubble Music Festival, Make Music Madison, Portal Music Festival, Madison Norml’s 5th Annual 420 Fest, and hosted events and concerts at dozens of different local and regional music venues including The Orpheum Theater, The Brink Lounge, The High Noon Saloon, The Frequency, George’s Tavern, The Showboat Saloon and many more.
Sweet Delta Dawn has worked with artists such as The Schwag, The Werks, Ifdakar, Earphorik, FlowPoetry, Ruckzuck, Jack O Roses, Newport All-Stars, A.j.
