Portage County residents will choose candidates for Wisconsin State Supreme Court Justice and Portage County Executive, and some residents across the county will be narrowing candidates for their local boards.
A primary election will be held Tuesday, Feb. 20, to narrow some fields to two candidates who will face off in the spring election Tuesday, April 3.
In addition, residents of Park Ridge will vote in an advisory referendum Feb. 20 to determine the future of fire protection services for the village.
All county residents will be voting on the County Executive and state Supreme Court Justice candidates. Only those living in the respective districts will vote for contested seats and the referendum.
