SPASH Announces April Color Run
City Times Staff
STEVENS POINT — The SPASH Junior Class is hosting a Color Run on Saturday, April 21.
With April being “National Cancer Awareness Month”, all proceeds will directly benefit patients at the Marshfield Clinic Cancer Center in Stevens Point. The event will “Kick-Off” at SPASH, and continue on the Green Circle Trail leading towards Zenoff Park.
It will then follow the Green Circle Trail and the Sculpture Park Trail back to SPASH. In spirit of the event, “color runners” will have the opportunity to be doused in color, from head-to-toe, at the conclusion of the event. A variety of colors will be used to symbolize the different types of cancer people are fighting in our community.
Pick up a registration form from SPASH, or find it online at (www.spashcolorrun.com) Registrations must be mailed to SPASH (SPASH Color Run, 1201 Northpoint Dr., Stevens Point, WI 54482) by March 20 to receive a T-shirt. More information about the event can be found on our website at: (www.spashcolorrun.weebly.com
