Local Man Sustains Injuries After Contact With Train

STEVENS POINT — A local man has been injured after being hit by a train.
According to police reports, on Feb. 17 at approximately 6:28 a.m., local authorities responded to an ambulance call at the railroad crossing located at W. Clark St. for a report of a pedestrian on the railroad tracks. They soon treated a 54-year-old man, who was taken to nearby medical facility for injuries sustained.
There is no further information at this time.
