Rep. Shankland to Co-Host Town Hall on Program Cuts at UW-Stevens Point

STEVENS POINT – Next week, Representative Katrina Shankland (D-Stevens Point) and the UW-Stevens Point Student Government Association will co-host a campus town hall to discuss the proposed program cuts at UW-Stevens Point, which include the elimination of 13 liberal arts majors. The town hall will be an open forum for students, faculty, staff, and community members to share how the proposed cuts will impact their work, their studies, and our local workforce pipeline.
