Beverly Jane Berg Ellingson, 89, Amherst Junction, died Sunday March 11, 2018.

The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 24, at North New Hope Lutheran Church, Amherst Junction. A luncheon followed in the church basement.

Visitation was at the church Saturday.

Mrs. Ellingson was born Jan. 6, 1929, in Iola, a daughter of late Hans and Ella (Diver) Berg. She grew up and attended schools in Iola.

She attended Central State Teachers College in Stevens Point and taught first grade for 19 years in Madison.

She was married to Robert O. Ellingson 67 years ago.

She participated in activities at her church.

Survivors include her husband; five sons, Robert O. (Pam) Ellingson Jr., Lakewood, Mark (Tammie), Amherst Junction, James, Blue Mounds, Paul (Krissanne), Madison, and David (Laura), Fitchburg; 10 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
