Residents to Discuss “Hiring” Wisconsin’s Next Governor

Wisconsin’s Choice campaign to bring voters together to discuss issues; qualities needed for next governor
STEVENS POINT – The Wisconsin’s Choice campaign — a partnership between Our Wisconsin Revolution and the Wisconsin Working Families Party — is holding a forum with the candidates for governor on Tuesday. More than 50 concerned citizens will attend. Activists contend that Wisconsin politics are dictated by and for the wealthy, while the rest of us fall behind.
The campaign is bringing voters together to elect a people’s champion governor. The Wisconsin Governor Candidate Forum is a place where community members can come together to discuss opinions and decide which key issues will be of major importance heading into the 2018 elections. Participants will “interview” gubernatorial candidates by asking questions about the issues that matter to working families — from quality healthcare to protecting our environment to adequately funding public schools.
